Anastasiya Kukharava was born on 30 July 1997. She worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature in Minsk until the elections of 2020. In August 2020, she was fired from her job because she expressed her civic position before the school administration.

Anastasiya Kukharava was brutally detained on January 31, 2022, at the railway station when she returned to Minsk from vacation. The investigation accused Anastasiya of blocking roads during the August 2020 protests. Anastasiya was sentenced to three years of restricted freedom and was released in the courtroom.

Anastasiya Kukharava is currently outside of Belarus.
