Illia Turkou was born on May 24, 1982. Before his arrest, he lived in Minsk and worked as a specialist in real estate transactions.
Illia was detained in after he protested against the Central Election Commission’s decision to deny registration to alternative presidential candidates. He was later sentenced to 4 years in prison.
