Ihar Losik was born on May 20, 1992, in Baranavichy. In 2011, Ihar became one of the administrators of the Revolution through the Social Media movement. Since February 2013, he has run the Belarus Golovnogo Mozga (Belarusian Brain Stem) Twitter account, and in 2016 he started a Telegram channel. Ihar has been an SMM specialist at the RFE/RL Belarusian service.

Ihar Losik was detained in June 2020. In custody, Ihar went on hunger strike twice, one of which lasted 42 days. He was convicted in the "Tsikhanouski case" and sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment.
