"In a prison yard..."

In a prison yard
Under barbed wire,
Feather dropped by a bird,
On my palm I admire.
And on a wall of concrete
A plantain leaf has grown
Out of its tiny seed.
The way to the Light
Can be grueling and hard.
Yet it exists! Because we’ve got hearts!
